[QUOTE="cbwjm, post: 8261098, member: 6788732"] So far, I'm probably kind of boring in that humans are still pretty common, definitely the most common in the current neck of the woods as they have formed a grand duchy from the descendants of 8 tribes who moved south away from the frozen north. Technically the size of a kingdom, I like to think that none of the 8 would follow a king, so instead each tribe is ruled by a count and a grand duke, elected by the 8 peoples acts as head of the grand duchy. Dragonborn have a kingdom, they were an early race created by the dragon elders to serve as footsoldiers in the mythic age. Now the once glorious empire has been reduced to small kingdoms with strong city states. I stole the name Arkhosia and Tymanther for the kingdom and city state the PCs have interacted with. Genasi make up a large portion of the world, no kingdoms but they are found as majority races in some kingdoms. Formerly humans turned into elemental channelling beings during the mythic age to fight against the draconic and giant forces. I have an area in the world loosely based on Al-Qadim and Turan from the Conan stories where a lot of them are found. Giant-kin, firbolgs and goliaths should also make up a large chunk of the world, the giant-kin are the third mortal race created during the mythic age to fight in the great elemental war, however i haven't done as much to integrate them in the setting.
