ability damage with critical?

Does an Allip get to do double damage (2d4 wisdom damage?) on a successful critical? I can't find any rule on this, so I would assume it works this way. Although, it seems odd that a touch attack on ability drain would be able to deliver a critical strike, since it doesn't matter where you touch them. Oh well, logic and rules don't exactly go hand in hand. :D

So far as I know: yes. But last time I checked, allips did Wisdom drain not Wisdom damage.

Would a critical strike with a poisoned blade double the poison effect as well (or quadrouple it in the case of the poisoned war-pick)?

I would have to say no, because it's added damage like if it was flaming or something. The crit is just the base weapon damage, afaik. In the case above, the base damage is the wisdom drain.

Unless stated otherwise, a special attack that deals ability damage (such as an Allip's attack or a Poison spell, but not actual poison itself) deals double damage on a critical hit. In some cases, it deals damage differently (for example, a Rod of Withering deals 1d4 Strength and Constitution damage on a successful attack, if I'm not mistaken, and on a crit the damage is instead 1d4 Strength and Constitution Drain).
