About them undead

My 3.5 SRD says undead are immune to mind-affecting effects, including morale effects. Can undead still benefit from morale bonuses from magical items, feats, or special circumstances?

Also, if a human aquires the undead (augmented humanoid) type, can it be affected by effects that only target humanoids? Is it still considered human, or male/female for purposes of what can affect it?

undead are immune to mind-affecting effects, including morale effects is pretty clear.

The rush of a battle chant or the feeling of divine Blessing is lost to them. Thier hearts and minds are faded mockeries of what they once were.

Undead are immune to all morale effects, even bonuses. They get no benefit from bard song, or anything else that grants morale bonus. (The only exception is if the ability description specifically says it works on undead-- like the Requiem feat from Song & Silence.)

Undead can't be affected by any morale effect, including the good ones -- with the only exception being Requiem (also in Libris Mortis, I believe), as far as I know.

Undead cannot be affected by things that target humanoids. A gray area (as far as I know) is subtypes, though, if any undead keep their subtypes. I dunno, and I'm too lazy to look it up. :) If, say, a formerly elven vampire is attacked by an elf bane sword, they might or might not suffer extra damage. I dunno.
