Disclaimer: no expert here just answering based on what I know from my read rough a so far. Also I'm on a tablet that keeps trying to autocorrect and doing weird spacing issues so I can't easily correct every Typeo. Apologies in advance 1) heavy armor causes disadvantage on stealth checks. If you are not proficient in heavy armor then you also receive disadvantage on any ability check, saving throw, or attack roll involving strength and dex, and you can't cast spells. So if the archer you refer to is proficient in heavy armor then he would only receive disadvantage on stealth checks. By being in light armor he does get to add his dex mod to ac which I suspect is his main reason for doing so 2) no other bonus, but I will point out that it's not just for doing extra things but could also improve basic things. For example say you have a potters kit and don't have proficiency in slight of hand or investigation. That potters kit proficiency means that you could add your proficiency modifier (if the dm says yes to skill checks to make pottery or inspect the pottery. Of course if you already had proficiency in sleight of hand and investigation the you couldn't add your proficiency bonus again. 3) nope this rule set is too free form to be that specific in tactical positioning. Though I will poiunt out that the rogue gets an ability that mimics getting a bonus for flanking.... And I would not be surprised if there is an optional rule in the dmg that utilizes flanking , or feats that give a flanking bonus as a component, etc. remember we're just looking at the base rules. Options are still to be released 4) we've been told that any cr higher than the party is supposed to be difficult, so a cr 2 would qualify as tough for a level 1 party. They do have so e rough guidelines on the wizards site (that is labeled as a work in progress so it can change) but for a level 1 party the total enemy xp should not exceed 20n for an easy encounter, 50n for a moderate encounter, 100n for a challenging encounter, 150n for a hard encounter. Where n is the number of people in the party. You also make an adjustment if it's a horde that would outnumber the party, etc. but if you use cr higher than the party you'llpotentially end up with dead pcs very quickly so spend the combat so budget on cr equal to the party or lower. 5) not yet released. Probably to be in the dog which isn't out for months and probably still being finalized 6) I do not believe it's spelled out since the party could do some inks out of order ( ie enter a place through a back door rather than front door). You could ballpark it by looking at the cr of the creatures.mof course, I do not have the starter set so I could be totally wrong and maybe it is spelled out 7) there were some in the play test packet so you could look there if you were part of the play test. Else it's against the nda to just post it here. That said, I think the 5e wizards amulet adventure from necromancer games has a pretend half elf Druid in it's appendix which may or may not be what the actual Druid and half elf would look like but it is one take on the possibility
