This, for those who don't know, is the 'team chaos' version of FFGs Warhammer 40k RPG line. Now I dislike trying to really get into an evil mindset so my character is pretty much based on Dr. Evil. In game terms that worked out to an apostate who are the 'talky' class and (bonus!) can start with a free minion. So we all wake up out of stasis in the secure inquisitorial wing of an imperial prison. Something disrupted the power to the stasis chambers, it might have something to do with the ongoing orbital bombardment. So naturally we break out, and then break the rest of the prisoners out as we make our way towards the armoury to get our stuff back. Our first major obstacle was a multi-tiered cell gallery with a bunch of guardsmen holed up at the other end and shooting at us as iff it were a carnival. The space marines shoot at the guardsmen with rifles claimed from poor slobs who had been outside our cells. The sorcerer launches into a 10 minute discussion with the GM about the setting, was there debris? How big a peice could he find? Telekinesis damage is based on the size of the object, etc. Finally he finds a hunk of debris and telekinetically hurls it, damaging a guard.Finally my turn. I think "Well heck, I suck at combat. I guess I'll try using the other prisoners." So I turn and give a short speech (It's really hard to try to sound inspiring, and like Dr. Evil at the same time btw.)  "Enemies of tyranny! There are the ones keeping you down. There are the men who stand between you and freedom! Kill them!" Then I rolled my command check. 6 successes. The guardsmen went down under a frothing, screaming hoarde of chaos fanatics.Then the sorcerer says in this plaintive voice "But, I threw a rock. That's cool, right?"After we stopped laughing I reflected that it was probably the first time I've ever seen a magic user get upstaged by a skill-guy. Still, I felt bad.Hopefully it won't be a problem going forward.</blockquote>
