Action Careers for Post Apocalypse?

Not sure what Action Careers covers, beyond the obvious, but I was wondering if it contains rules for mutations. I have New and Old, but I'm looking to put together a kind of Gamma World/Metro 2033 mash up.

I'm also not sure if I should pick up Action Careers now, versus waiting for Now to drop (not sure how much of Now I'll actually need, given that I have the other two books).

It does contain rules for mutations, yes. In fact, it has the Mutant race. Mad Max is a strong influence.

If you have the other two books, my suggestions would be Careers and Equipment. However - there's a bonus! All the equipment is already up on www.woingear.com so all you really need is Careers.

The core rules are the same, as you know. However, I would note that the Action Core book, while it is very similar to the other two, will have vehicle rules in it.
