At this rate we will have to create a wall of fallen heroes... Publishers/writers/artists that we either banned or scarred away... *grins* Seriously though, i can understand the standpoint of Gareth concerning the border art. There's no clear indication that states that if he does X he gets Y extra sales, especially if X takes Z time and Gareth is convinced that Y does not weigh up to Z. I doubt that there's even one person that's saying "if there's no printer friendly version, i'm not buying it, if there is a printer friendly version i'm buying it right now". If there is, i would say, buy the pdf product and email me i'll remove the borders for you (10 min work tops). I work on a computer helpdesk, we perform certain services, and being the nice guy that i am, i sometimes perform services that fall outside our 'package'. What i've noticed is that if your to easy when doing something for someone else they'll start asking more and more of you and tend to be rather miffed if you say no to something that's actually not your job (but you've done in the past to be helpfull). Not to mention that they'll tell their friends and coworkers that your so easy when someone asks you something that's not actually your job. In no time you'll have all kinds of 'nutcases' asking all sorts of ridiculess questions. The same goes for a publisher, if he starts complying with every customer request he'll have someone take advantages of that and when the publisher stops complying he suddenly is mr. evil.
