I have a choice between the standard setting choices and Services, Services allows me to choose 'single black cartridge' as one of the options, but it still prints in full color, even if that is the chosen mode - it makes no difference that I can find. It may be that the high end PSCs use a different driver than the lower end. I use a PSC 1210 printer, about the lowest end that is available.The Auld Grump*EDIT* I think that if the printer finds a color cartridge then it overrides the driver settings.A second oddity, if you have a pure color item to print, and no color cartridge then it will switch to greyscale.</blockquote>
