Stealth is most useful in an ambush (the OP's scenario of "the enemies are in a room on the other side of these closed doors" would be perfect for a Stealth roll since vision is blocked), but becomes difficult in a fight unless you can make cover/provide invisibility/etc.</p></blockquote><p></p>
