Adroit Flyby Attack... Huh?

Adroit Flyby Attack is on page 67 of the Draconomicon. When flying and making an attack action you can move both before and after the attack, provided the total distance moved is not greater than your fly speed. Such movement does not provoke AoO.

How does this differ from the lesser Flyby Attack feat? That feat allows a standard action at any point during the move. Is the only difference the no AoO?

I think so.

Note that there is also the Improved Flyby Attack [General] in the Epic rules, which appears to accomplish the same thing as Adroit Flyby Attack, ie no AOO for melee attack.

Yes, movement on normal Fly-bys provokes. That's the difference between the feats.
And that Adroit Flyby Attack only works with an attack action, if the wording above is accurate (I don't have the Draconomicon). Flyby Attack allows any standard action (eg. casting a spell).

I'm pretty sure it's worded exactly like Flyby Attack, with the exception that it doesn't provoke.
