The half-elf brings his blade around, but he slips in the goo at the last second at his heavy blade goes wide. It is only then he notices the fleshy tendrils darting at him from all sides from the foul goo, distracting him.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Ardent surge & a miss. PCs in the goo grant CA while within it.]</span></p><p></p><p>Not moving from his place, <span style="color: sandybrown">Vimak</span> swings his weapon at the prone enemy. The dwarf rune of 'reversal' and the giant rune of 'wrath' appear above his head. The prone undead moans in obvious pain.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[WD, I already said you got an AP. Attack hits.]</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: darkorange">"Leave the boy alone, you mud puddle creep!" Torqua</span> cries out from across the cave, her stomach glowing with a blue thunderous symbol. The fat sorceress then leaps forward and slams into the ground with all her mighty weight, sending an arcane shockwave towards the monster closest to the boy. It is buffeted by the solid sound, but holds its ground.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Hit for 12hp.]</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: darkslateblue">Elkrysn</span> quickly steps away in order to avoid the nearby zombie. Next, he shrouds and hurls another blast at the zombie still glowing with his earlier attack. The bolt flies over its head easily.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Moved you to C18 to avoid the moved D2. Attack misses but shrouded. Darkfire ends.]</span></p><p></p><p>Distracted by the thrashing fronds, Lhavarr barely glimpses the dirty form of the smaller undead emerge from the fleshy mass before him. It gnashes at him with blackened teeth, but the half-elf manages to pull its mouth away just in time. However, the one on the plateau leaps up and scuttles with inhuman speed at the bardent's back. Its bite burns, and Lhavarr feels his life ebbing away. It lashes out at the Northern Woman, but her primal form deflects the grimy claw. The creature then dances away after the attack.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[D1 appears and attacks Lhavarr with special attack it can make when given CA; misses. D2 stands (standing from prone does not provoke OAs in 4th, Voda) and uses shift power to move to I18 and attack twice: First, it uses it special attack vs Lhavarr for 5 hp and Lhavarr loses a healing surge; it then claws at Johanna but misses. Vimak's power triggers and Lhavarr, Johanna, Vimak, and Torqua regain 3hp. D2 shifts after the attack.]</span></p><p></p><p>The tentacle zombie that struck Johanna shuffles forward, lashing once again at the warrior. Johanna slips under the strike. The closer one waits, moaning; the robed one responding with a gargle. It lifts its decaying arm again and a bolt of darkness flings from it. This time, when it hits, Johanna is assaulted by the black whispers its carries. The pain fills her mind, and the undead before her pounces. It grabs her and bites her neck, the wound festering quickly!</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[L2 moves forward and attacks; misses & mark ends. L1 readies; M makes ranged attack that hits for 9 and dazing her ENT M. L1 uses special attack vs dazed targets and hits for 7 necrotic damage and 5 necrotic ongoing (save ends). Green blobs are the pustules; walking through them is possible but they grant CA when in them (PCs only). Water is not difficult terrain but it costs 1 extra square of movement to enter/leave it. The lighter stone near the boy/rock looks to be somewhat unsteady.</p><p></p><p>Red glow is the shard; green cross is the boy.
