D1 dropped; D2 & L1 hit; M missed. In aura.]</span></p><p></p><p>Further frustrated by his aim, <span style="color: darkorchid">Elkrysn</span> turns his cold stare towards the undead necromancer. His stare is more than just appearance, but the ice he meant to encase his foe materializes as harmless snowflakes. Elkrysn spits, <span style="color: darkorchid">"It seems that the chaos that fuels my magic is being thrown off by this taint."</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Miss]</span></p><p></p><p>Rattled by the hit and enraged by the hit, <span style="color: sandybrown">Vimak</span> still stands his ground. The rune of the phoenix protects him and his allies, heals Lhavarr and smites the nearest undead thing. It turns to cinder, destroyed!</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Lhavarr healed; L1 down]</span></p><p></p><p>The anger of missing her targets gets the better of <span style="color: darkorange">Torqua</span> as she once again tries to burn the monsters in a spray of fire, only to somehow miss all three of the things once more.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Miss]</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: royalblue">Lhavarr</span> moves toward the deabilitating undead near the middle of the pool, striking with his greatsword. The great blade saps the life from the undead, invigorating his allies to continue their assault. The bardent strikes again, a vibration going down his long blade, affecting the nerves of the strange creature. The creature shrieks, black bile oozing from its wounds. The water feels odd, and being next to it is disorienting...</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Both hit; M bloodied. Now in aura. I need an Endurance check from Lhavarr.]</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><span style="color: magenta">Johanna</span> continued to bleed from numerous wounds- and seemed to ignore them. With a growl, she slogged forward and lashed out with her greatspear- first a distracting jab, then a sweeping slash more suited to a sword. While she seemed unconcerned with her injuries, it was obvious the wounds were slowly her down, and the abominations were able to avoid her attacks. She too feels the strangeness near the creature</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[M marked. Attack misses. In aura]</span></p><p></p><p>The last remaining small creature darts away from Torqua and tries to rake the Northern woman. The wound is deep, and she staggers a moment as it slips behind her.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[D2 shifts, attacks and hits J for 11hp, then shifts again to flank.]</span></p><p></p><p>The spellcasting creature uses the little one's distraction to clash out with its long fingernails, but Johanna is quick enough this time to push it aside.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[M misses]</span></p><p></p><p>Stepping aside its master, the lanky undead continues to assault the glowing goliath. The strength of the blow is absorbed by Vimak's hardened skin, but the wind is still knocked out of him.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[L2 shifts and attacks Vimak; Vimak takes 1 hp after resist and is marked and dazed until L2's next turn ends.]</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: slategray">[Sapo, Lhavarr, & Johanna all take 4 psychic damage at the start of their turns (noted in parens) and suffer -1 to attacks if they remain w/in 2 squares of M at the start of their turn.]</span></p><p></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 12px">Save Bryan! Green blobs are the pustules; walking through them is possible but they grant CA when in them (PCs only). Water is not difficult terrain but it costs 1 extra square of movement to enter/leave it & may cause Affliction. The lighter stone near the boy/rock looks to be somewhat unsteady.</p><p></p><p>Red glow is the shard; green cross is the boy. Forgot to put dog on map but he is nearby.[/sblock]</p><p></p><p><strong>Combat Rules</strong></p><p>Actions will be handled in posting order; I will bot folks that don't post within a day using at-wills only.
