Leaving the women, you enter the cavern up ahead. You encounter a huge skeleton's rib cage. You make out a spiral staircase within and enter. You climb what seems like forever, but finally manage to reach the top. This part of the cave is different from the others. The walls are made out of carved stone, chipped and decayed with age. A black curtain hangs along one wall of this room. It is unusually deep and rich in color. An image is formed on the fabric by white lines, but they seem to stand above the surface of the curtain. The picture shows a young woman manacled to an upright slab of stone. A ring of skeletons, armed with flails and whips, stands around her as if ready to strike. An occasional ripple in the surface of the material makes it seem as if the skeletons are moving ever so slightly. In addition to the macabre curtain, a large black table strewn with bone fragments stands to your left. The bones are yellow with age. You move past the curtain and enter a room that looks like an abandoned temple. Marble now cover the floors, chipped cracked and showing horrible scenes of undead tormenting mortals. Many stone pillars litter the room, some fallen over. A beautiful young woman sits upon a skeletal chair. She looks almost exactly like the women you encountered earlier, except she is not emaciated with hunger, but almost perfect in appearance, with long flowing hair, ruby red lips and a beautiful figure. She is wearing a golden jeweled crown on her head. So, I see the adventures have come at last! she says in a creaky voice that does not fit her appearance.
