When you enter the room you find that the bar is kept dimly lit. Smoke fills the air. The humans in the room are what in the more elite circles would call "common". A few are singing, most are drinking or eating and two are even fist fighting in one corner. With Sir ExSixTen's entrance the more sober look up from their tables for an instant and then go about their business like nothing has happened. The majority of the eastern half of the room is taken up with a sunken area that contains the bar and several tables. A wide variety of bottles and glasses stand on a heavy shelf, readily available to the barkeep. The western wall of the room is composed of a long row of dark brown curtains screening off three alcoves. The curtains covering the center one hangs open, revealing a round table and several stout chairs around it. Whispers can be heard from behind the other two, but curtains are so thick that they make it impossible to overhear the discussions beyond. As you walk up to the bar area itself a aging bartender sporting a dark beard flecked with grey and a milky eye with a scar across his face walks up to the group from behind the bar. What can I get you gents. he says to Sir ExSixTen. [sblock=perception=20 (passive or rolled)] Glancing about the room you notice some of the more drunken patrons seem a bit unusual. Most look like normal humans but some are a bit too hairy, others seem to have longer teeth than normal. Once you swear you see somebody with a dog-like muzzle, but when you look back to get a better look it is gone. Perhaps it was your imagination. [/sblock]
