I own both the Storyteller version and d20 version of Adventure! and it seems to me that some of the d20 Knacks/Daring Feats are underpowered compared to their Storyteller versions. I don't have the book in front of me so forgive me if I get some of the names wrong: Fists of Stone. The damage is too low at the bottom end. I started the improved damage progression to 1d4/1d6/1d8/1d10. Also the extra dice related to grip disappeared, probably a +6 bonus would work. And finally the cosmetic effect of the Daredevil's fists not taking damage was taken away. Improvisation. This is the one that allows you to imitate any skill. In ST you got one die for every point in your Inspiration Facet. However in d20 you get one rank for every point of your Inspiration Facet. I think raising it to your Inspiration score instead would model it better. Lie Detector: This one is the same as its ST version, but I would allow the character to be treated as if he had 5 knowledge ranks in any field against someone with Master of Dissimulation. Powerlifter: This one is majorly underpowered from its ST version. I would allow someone to add his Destruction Facet to his Strength bonus instead of Strength score for the purposes of making Strength checks not related to combat. For lifting and encumbrance purposes I would allow you to multiply those amounts by (1 + Destructive Facet) which would approximate the Might table amounts in ST. Body of Bronze: Aw, heck, just add the two facets together. I really don't see a problem with doing that.
