I currently run two games with the same group:
One is a standard d&d multiverse-hopping mid level game that took its inspiration from the old 'Quantum Leap' TV show. The characters are 10th level.
The other is a Shadow Chasers/Dark*Matter/CoC game using the Spycraft ruleset. The characters are 2nd level.

These two games are going to merge for one adventure. Basically, the Shadow Chasers group will discover a cult that has summoned a demon (I know, cliché, but bear with me) during a shadow event. After the investigation the party will discover that no, they can't kill it, and yes, it's getting bigger.

Around that time I plan to bring in the other party, so that they can slay the creature and save the day. Once the group realizes where they are, they'll figure things out pretty quickly. The question is: How would you handle the mechanics of this situation?

Initially, I wanted to have the group switch between character groups at opportune moments during the game, but if someone has a better idea, I'm all ears.
