She then steps back, using a holy prayer to confound the brutish ogre.The aggressive move of the shifter triggers an equally aggressive move from Marshal Rickert.  He steps back from the troll's clumsy attack and charges back to the road to engage the shifter.Slamming into his side with another savage blow, he pronounces, "As a civilian living in the Five Kingdoms, you are subject to their laws!  By the Code of Galifar, by order of assault upon Brelish citizens, you are under arrest.  Throw down your arms and surrender!"Hilkalas grunts, as the hobgoblin spell hits him. Barely, he manages to get off the harms way, as a giant tree trunk almost splatters him like a bug. Despite being before the juggernaut, his mind is also in the rest of the battlefield. He sees his healer being attacked. Hilkalas uses the chance to cast his most powerful spell: He uses his Khopesh to slash at the air, creating a grotesque looking rune before him. He places his hand over it, and the ground beneath Rava begins to melt and fall in pieces, a pit crawling with undead abominations opening underneath it. The hobgoblin and the shifter attacking Rava fall for the illusion, and their feeble minds get ripped by it, as they flail helplessly in the floor. Hilkalas hisses another spell, this time his sticks his khopesh in the ground, and as he takes it out, black tentacles sprout from the gash in the earth, lashing and pushing the ogre backwards. Hilkalas feels the restorative energy of Rava's spell as the giant fights back the illusory tentacles, until he finds out what they are. However, he is now standing quite far from the marshal.Sirrah retrieves a glowing stone from his pouch. He touches it to his lance and the magical aura is conferred upon the weapon. Continuing his pursuit of the Bugbear, Sirrah bears down on it with his lance."I think I'd better give Hilkalas a hand with the Ogre." Tana said, moving forward. She hoped the others understood the implication that she had used her only fire spell on the bandits, and the monsters did not catch it. Her rapier seemed to pierce space itself just before she hit the creature, and Tana stepped through that opening into a new position, and then stabbed her thunder-infused blade into the ogre's hide.The Bugbear misses Sirrah.The Half Troll heals up and then charges in and grabs Jayce around the neck and squeezes. Tana tries to save Jayce, but her spell is ineffective.The first Hobgoblin moves in and blasts an area around it with arcane force. Hilkalas and Rava get slammed away by the blast and fall down.The second Hobgoblin gets up.The Ogre tries to smash Tana with its club, but misses.The wounds on the Shifter's body start to heal up. It stands up and stabs Jayce in the chest with it's longspear.Jasper runs, taking the barking Pumpkin with him.[sblock=OOC]Rava heals herself and hits the Ogre with Astra Seal.Jayce hits the Shifter for 20.Hilkalas hits, drops prone, and immobilizes Shifter and Hobgoblin 2 for 12.Hilkalas then hits the Ogre for 6 and heals up 7 from the Astra Seal.Sirrah hits the Bugbear for 30.Tana hits the Ogre for 13.The Bugbear misses Sirrah.<a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4034157/" target="_blank">2+mods misses</a>The Half Troll heals up and then hits and grabs Jayce for 18 damage.<a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4034167/" target="_blank">10+mods hits for 18.</a>Tana's Dimensional Vortex misses the Half Troll.<a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4034190/" target="_blank">11 misses</a>Hobgoblin 1 recharges his Lightning, moves in, and blasts Hilkalas and Rava for 17.
