The child listens intently to Azryah's words and smiles up at her uncertainly. It appears that she doesn't understand everything that the deva is saying, but likes her tone. She starts drifting away, but stops when Jynxx launches into his speech. His appearance and warm voice attract the attention of the crowd, and most of them stop their arguments to watch him. From their puzzled expressions, though, they find his oratory difficult to understand. For many if not most, it is completely incomprehensible. Still, his smiling presence does seem to calm things down. [sblock=ooc]LadyLaw is correct, although Hulgrimi offered some cash as compensation, in the confusion no one actually got it and gave it to you. there's not really anything to return. Jynxx's idea to ask for him to protect the village instead is an interesting idea. However it's not clear if he would agree, and LadyLaw is also probably right that if he did, it would risk your chance to get his zocalti. However you could pursue it and still try to seek the zocalti through other means. Regarding "one among you who knows the ways of tactics and combat", you've seen around twenty warriors around the village, and there are a handful of them watching this scene. They are hanging back and muttering to each other. They look tense but their concern seemed more about the crowd than you. They look relieved when the crowd calms down.[/sblock] The little girl is entranced by the handsome kalashtar but draws back when he bows down to her. She still has the presence of mind to snatch the gold piece when offered. "Thank you mister very much!" she squeaks, then dashes off to hide behind the skirts of one of the women in the crowd.
