We man our posts and watch, or sleep if we can, but everyone is afraid to just ask them what's going on. I was deathly afraid of them... and the foreman tells us to just let them continue their hard labor. He tells us to lock the doors during the night, and stay out of their way. He sometimes takes some of us into the mines to help the laborers, and we have no choice but to follow. And they never come back out... I just can't figure it. This has been going on for a week now... and I'm more afraid than I've ever been in my entire life..."</span></p><p></p><p>(the man looks competent enough for crossbow work, but too slow and frail for real combat)</p></blockquote><p></p>
