I don't know what he would have chosen, but I played a valor bard in a table top game; Ramon the Great, an annoying bard who was singing his <em>own</em> praise and insisted everyone sang along to benefit from his magic! </p><p></p><p>So even though it's awfully convenient in your situation, I can attest that Song of the New Dawn really is a feat a valor bard would take.
