[QUOTE="johnmeier1, post: 5054629, member: 73730"] Shorrin raises his shield higher to cover the vital areas of his body as he tries to blink out the darkness. Tonk darts around the incoming cloud. Murphy draws upon another wisp of shadow to cling to the pale woman and the assassin begins circling around to get a better angle at her. As he moves, Murphy reaches out and pulls bits of shadows from each one that he passes, some from Dextyr, Larinza, himself, and the trees. Gathering them together into small, daggerlike pieces, Murphy throws the projectiles in rapid succession. One of them slams directly into the woman's chest, the aim deadly accurate. Larinza smashes her glaive into the woman twice to throw her off balance and send her retreating past Shorrin "[COLOR=Magenta]I'm really getting tired of this woman. Janus, you alright back there? keep your headup and your eyes open"[/COLOR] The man looks around at the number of heroes and grits his pointed teeth. He swings his greatsword at Shorrin, but the dragonborn's defensive stance deflects the blow. The creature disappears into the shadows and rustling trees. [sblock=mechanics] Janus gets a save before his turn. Shorrin still gets a free basic melee, but since the woman didn't speak or attack him he needs to guess her location as H10. Last time he saw her she was at H11 and she has been in two other locations since then (with a current stealth check of 34) so I figure he has a 1/3 chance - or make a good argument. I had Tonk move around the shadow to avoid damage, but he can get to the same place. KenHood goes now too, so if you want to keep your last rolls (a hit!) you can do that. Just know that you can't tumble out and take 5 necrotic for charging in. The man misses (barely) turns invisible and them moves with stealth. If you use a minor to locate him the check is below (must beat by 10 to know location) [/sblock] [sblock=status] Pale Male hidden (first ally to hit gains 3 temp hp) Dextyr F7 bloodied 12/33 <-- your turn Janus D7 sight limited (save ends) 16/30 <-- your turn Tonk G5 24/24 4 temp hp <-- your turn Pale Woman H10 Murphy K7 29/37 Shorrin G10 Second Wind, Frost damage, in Deep Shadow 30/43 Larinza E8 24/34 [/sblock] [sblock=Perception 23] He isn't invisible, just hiding at F10[/sblock] [sblock=map][IMG]http://www.enworld.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=42605&stc=1&d=1263303008[/IMG] [/sblock] [/QUOTE]
