[GM]Kavac is AWOL until he checks in.[/GM] The group crouches and causiously makes their way into the opening. Everyone can smell something damp and slightly acrid coming from the inside. The cavern you enter is carved from unfinished stone, the uneven marks of tools still present on the walls and stone shavings on the floor. Between Brenwar's light prayer and the sunrod from Shale, the room is brightly lit. The ceiling is about 15 feet in height, plenty of headroom. You can now see roughly in the center of the chamber is a stone dais that rises out of the floor and there is another pile of skulls on the southern side. Atop the dais is what appears to be a large stone block with relief carvings on its surface. The only other exit appears to be a tunnel on the opposite side of the chamber. However, what is more immediately concerning is what appears to be the thick coils of a large serpent of some kind resting around the stone block. Its bony scales are the same ashy color as everything else, so its features are difficult to identify with much detail. At first you think it may be dead, but then you notice one of the coils shift slightly. [sblock=Map][/sblock][sblock=Terrain]The squares with steps are difficult terrain and the top of the dais is 1 square high. The hallways are 1 square high and the room is 3 squares high from the ground and 2 squares high from the top of the dais.[/sblock]
