Ferris takes 3 damage from being singed and is currently standing in one of the burning squares.</p><p></p><p>On the positive side though, the flames have also cleared a small path through the mangroves blocking the party to the rear.[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>Recognizing the inanimate suit of armor as Fizzenden's missing mechanical knight, Cyr unhesitatingly flips his activation switch, releasing Sir Exsixten into the fray.</p><p></p><p>The divine fury unleased by Jezebel and Cyr leaves both adult crocs, particularly the female looking much worse for the wear, but nonetheless the crocodiles press the attack, just as the newly reactivated warforged comes charging out.</p><p></p><p>Undaunted by the flames, the baby crocodile behind Jezebel continues to snap at her ankles, distracting her and weakening her defense against the big bull, who makes a savage lunge at the tiefling, but is once again thwarted by the tiefling's armor. Rethinking its tactics, the bull croc attempts to dive below the surface of the water and out of sight, but a trail of blood from its wounds clearly marks its position.</p><p></p><p>[sblock=ooc]Even though the croc is not hidden being under water gives it some advantages. Any non-spear or crossbow weapon attack will take a -2 penalty to hit an underwater target. Underwater enemies you can see are indicated with a blue halo.[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile two of the baby crocs leap out of the water, snapping at Sir Exsixten, lightly scratching his breastplate. Another charges Ferris, but the shifter swats it aside before it gets a good bite.</p><p></p><p>Yet another one of the toothy ankle biters surfaces and momentarily harries Jezebel then dives below the water and out of sight. The female croc attempts to take advantage of her young's efforts, but once again Jezebel's armor proves to have been a worthwhile investment.
