I recently skimmed though a module that involved ethereal wolves that could only be hit when they were in daylight, and the finding of many shield shaped translucent scales that the local smith has been fashioning into shields. The scales are coming from a dragon (ethereal, spirit or astral or some such).
It was a haunted forest theme with a plot of the before mentioned dragon being bound or stuck somehow between planes... and the energy from this effecting the local wildlife.
Anybody recognize this? I'm trying to find it again. I think it was either pathfinder or a free or pay-what-you-want title from Drivethrough rpg. It may have been 5th ed or osr... maybe not even dnd, but I'm pretty sure it was.
