The water briefly shimmers with a bright white glow, and then you can make out a strange reflection in the pool. You see the cursed tree from a vantage point above it and a small band of armed humans standing in front of it. From their heavy armor, they look like guards of Cay Harbor.</p><p></p><p>One of the humans, a woman with a serious look on her face, steps closest to the tree and turns to face the others. Her left pauldron has a star and several chevrons emblazoned on it - more than any of the other soldiers with her.</p><p></p><p>[sblock=History 15]She is a General in the Army of the Imperium with the additional status as Commandant of a fort, city, or academy.[/sblock]You see her mouth moving for quite awhile as she apparently makes a speech, but the pool does not give off any noise. The woman then dramatically unsheathes her longsword, glowing a hideous black-purple color, and stabs deep into the tree with one motion. The image begins to become distorted, and it quickly fades away. You are left staring only at the murky pool.</p><p></p><p><strong><span style="color: YellowGreen">"Yess, who elsse could it have been but the city ssoftsskins. Do you know who that human was? And that sword, it was.. corrupted. It is what caussess the plague, I am sssure of it."</span></strong></p></blockquote><p></p>
