The door opens easily revealing a larg room that must take up the whole floor. The rookf is flat, some 20' overhead, it's wooden rafters barely visible to those with nrmal sight. The only light in this room is coming from the center of the room where a machine seems to humm. It's mainly made of metal with levers coming off of it in random areas. The whole thing must be at least 10' tall, and takes up a good portion of the center of the room. There is a constant humm in the air (as if from electrical current) and the snell of sulfer and something else, something sweeter fills the air. The walls of the room (except for the one behind you) are all stone and circle around the room as you would imagine they should in a tower; the floor is hard wood, polished and glowing blue from the machines light. In front of the machine, looking away from it towards the door is a strange apparision. Standing 6' tall, and weighing not more then 120 pounds, is an elf, his long straight hair seeming blue from the light, his pale skin the same hugh. He has on a white silk shirt (though, like his hair looks blue inthe light), under which, the observant would not that a fine shirt of chainmail shows at the neck underneath. His pants are as fine as his shirt, though surely not silk. At his side is a rapier in a scabbard with a symbol on it, and on his back is a cloak which appears purple in the blue light of the room. "Welcome friends." comes the soft whisper of a greeting, barely louder then the soft humm of machinery.
