Their absence is just settling into a peaceful quiet when the fae and their din return. They carry a good deal of spider meat, and with them is Sasha, carrying the lion's share of the meal. The Pict builds a spit over a fire and soon some of the spiders' meat is cooking. It smells as if the Captain was telling the truth, the cooking meat does smell like cooking bacon. Anyone catching a glance at the Pict as he mans the spit might have to supress a laugh. It appears one of the other piskies has glamoured a chef's hat onto his head and he's been unable to remove it, much to his chagrin. The Captain offers the first portion to Sasha and then moves on to the others.
