With a sleepy nod to her, he resumes her watch and yawns, his massive dragon-maw opening wide. When his mouth suspended in this way for a moment while he inhales a massive breath, an Irregular sneaks up, slipping a piece of the spider meat into Takahaan's maw and takes off with a giggle and a snort.Surprised by the act, Takahaan's fog of sleepiness is cast away as he jumps in his seat a few inches. Finally chewing, he realizes that the Irregular had fed him a generous piece of the spider flesh. "Friends, he says, between bites of the delicious meat truly reminiscent of bacon, "This is quite delectable. If we run into anymore of those foul creatures along our paths, may we eat them up before they can do the same to us." Finishing the mouthful, Takahaan again stares off into the dark clearing and jungle, unlit by the comforting campfire that his companions had thrown together. Seconds, minutes, hours pass before anything breaks the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite. Adding another log to the campfire, Takahaan notices his friend Noriaki tossing and turning in his sleep, something he hasn't seen him do before. Swearing he heard him mumble a few things, Takahaan edges his way over, confused and interested in the strange behavior of his sleeping friend.With a shout, Noriaki seems to wake up, his arms reaching out in front of him."Noriaki! Hey! the dragonborn says, running the last distance up to Noriaki, who is lying amongst his bedding. "Did you have a nightmare? Tell me, friend, while your memories of it are still fresh."</blockquote>
