The Pict gives Takahaan a sharp nod, and vanishes into the underbrush.</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile, Noriaki whirls upon his attacker, ducking under a hasty blow and striking the cannibal down with a single elegant slice. The warrior flicks his blade, a small peal of thunder whipping the blood off of it, as he calls out, <strong><span style="color: deepskyblue">"That's another foe defeated by Noriaki Matsumoto!"</span></strong> Without a foe to face, Noriaki takes a few steps toward where he last saw Takahaan, but when he finds the big dragonborn, Takahaan is already prying the dead dragon's jaws from his leg. With a smile, Noriaki turns to the cannibal harrying Hu Li. Like a flash, he charges the man, his sword leaving a deep gash in the cannibal's back. As Noriaki reverses his grip and goes for the final blow, the cannibal turns and catches Noriaki's blade on his spear haft. Looking into the foe's eyes, Noriaki smiles.
