[QUOTE="MadAzolin, post: 6176872, member: 6747396"] Darkness continues creeping over the forest as companions make their path through the forest. Heavy vegetation, razor sharp thorns and occasional miniature river make path difficult, but path is not as difficult or dangerous as it is tedious. As time passes, deep, blood-red glow glow appears on the horizon as Hunter's moon rises from the 'west' (same direction where silver moon set). Small red moon is half the size of ordinary moon everyone is used to, but its glow is quite strong, bathing the forest in reddish tint. As silver-pale light is replaced by reddish one, world seems to change - shadows pick up menacing shapes and many of plants seem to pick up red florescence. Bird-song dies down quickly to be replaced by wolf-like howls deep in the forest and screeches of different birds - these ones sounding much less friendly... Hunters' horns echo in the distance, some of them occasionally sounding closer, sometimes too close for comfort and time passes slowly in tense silence - it is as if forest is waiting... [sblock="nature DC 15"] Path is difficult, but not especially dangerous and you are making slow, but steady progress. What is more troubling however is fact that everyone is getting tired - it was many hours before last proper rest. [sblock="nature DC 25"] Observing surroundings since you started, you are sure path is getting more difficult - path you manage winds and even circles at times and only good eyes of your party are keeping you in somewhat of a straight path ahead - it is as if forest itself has decided to make your progress as slow as possible. Reality however is likely different - you have bad feeling Hunters are playing with you... [/sblock] [/sblock] [sblock="perception DC 20"] Watching carefully, you cannot shake off feeling you are being watched - reddish eyes of some strange birds stare at you, swarms of insect-like things you have no name for seem to follow you and it is obvious that your party is making for too much noise to pass without being noticed. [sblock="perception DC 25"] Hunting horns are getting closer over time and you are fairly certain they are approaching faster as time goes. With this pace, they will be upon you before Hunter's moon is halfway across the sky. Wolf howls are approaching as well and you are fairly sure you can hear baying of hound mixed in the howls... Sounds of horns that are sounding in front as well as behind you doesn't help - it seems that Hunters are slowly but steadily closing the circle around you. [/sblock] [/sblock] [/QUOTE]
