This Haltor, whoever he was, was mad.</p><p></p><p>Alex reaches into a pocket in his clothes and pulls out an orb that swirls with arcane energy. He steps to the side to get a clearer view of the cavern and sees Haltor rush in. <span style="color: Lime">"Wait..."</span> Alex warns, but its too late. The young mage moves into the mouth of the cavern and prepares to launch psychic energy at anyone that gets close to the halfling.</p><p></p><p>Haltor's plan seems to work as a multitude of hobgoblin's appear from behind the boulders, even the one that Haltor's in front of!</p><p></p><p>As one rounds the corner, Alex's mental blast slams into the hobgoblin, dropping the foe.</p><p></p><p>The rest swarm at Haltor, two of them drawing minor wounds on the halfling warrior, but he manages to deflect one. Another appears from behind a rock and fires an arrow at Alex, getting retribution for his fallen ally. </p><p></p><p>The scimitar wielders and glaive wielder move into a more advantageous position.</p><p></p><p>[sblock=Monster Actions]</p><p>LS73 moves out of rock and towards Haltor. Alex's readied action triggers and the foe dies.</p><p></p><p>LS 61 & 64 move into a flank, 61 readying his attack until 64 moves into flank - <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2454113/" target="_blank">vs ac (1d20+14=18, 1d20+14=29)</a> 1 hit for 5</p><p></p><p>LS87 moves to current spot and slashes Haltor - <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2454115/" target="_blank">vs ac (1d20+12=28)</a> hits for 5 more</p><p></p><p>LS44 draws a longbow and fires at Alex - <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2454116/" target="_blank">vs ac (1d20+11=27)</a> hits even with cover from Vist</p><p></p><p>The other hobbos move into current positions and draw weapons, standing defensively</p><p>[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>[sblock=Unlocked Stats]</p><p>LS hobbo - ???</p><p>S hobbo - ???</p><p>g hobbo - ???</p><p>[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>[sblock=Perception 15]</p><p>A couple of large, reddish-brown patches stain the floor.
