[QUOTE="renau1g, post: 5242582, member: 54810"] Varis steps forward, focusing his voice though his sword, both swarms are hit with such a force that they are driven back. One of them collapses under the bard's words. [sblock=ooc] That kills swarm 60 [/sblock] [color=sandybrown]C'mon, big guy! Suck it up! They're just dust![/color] Haltor's words seems to have an effect on the halfork, but the halfling has work to do. He continues to harry the bone-creature, dancing forward and back with a deadly swipe well timed. Harressh closes his eyes and tries to calm his emotions. Seeking accuracy over power, he spits a spray of needle-sharp icicles to bombard the bone swarms. Varak grits his teeth through the pain of the rotting flames and the halflings words ring true to his ears. Varak jumps off his left foot, bringing the blade in his left hand up through the air, but nearly loses his grip on the weapon. The agile half-orc cartwheels away, rolling through the terrain to come up next to the bone wyrm, noting it's weakpoints and slashing at the creature. His eyes meets the halflings, and he swings his weapon in a flurry, hacking away at the creature. The mass of bones assault Varis, but the half-elf is able to keep the swarm at bay. The wyrm slides around Varak and slashes at the half-orc with its bony appendages, causing a minor wound. The nozzles on the wall again flare with their infernal power and Varak continues to draw their attention, the explosion nearly dropping the barbarian, while revitalizing the wyrm. [sblock=Arcana or Religion DC21] You realize that Haestus left behind some necrotic energy that will likely harm you and heal the undead he left behind. However, you can likely attempt to shut it down without a mechanical response. Arcana or Religion (DC 21); standard action; a creature can attempt the check from anywhere in the trap’s encounter area. A total of four successes disables the trap. Any failure by 5 or more allows the trap to attack as an immediate reaction. [/sblock] [sblock=Varak] You're in the swarm's aura right now.
