With a quick flick of the wrist, his polearm smashes into the foe yet again, hitting him in the chest and then sweeping him off his feet. The back of the glaive catches and digs into the hobgoblin's leg as Gark swings him around like a ragdoll and tosses him on his back behind the bugbear and the smaller hobgoblin (barely missing Varak in the process). Finally, at the end of a fluid motion, he holds the glaive sideways with two hands and thrusts it forward as the lightning builds to a head: it <strong>explodes</strong> into a powerful clap of thunder. The three are blown to the back of the room; the smaller hobgoblin never moves again, the breath knocked completely out of his body.
