[QUOTE="Aranel, post: 1421040, member: 13816"] Aranel had given the ceiling a long hard look to hide the fact she was biting her tongue to prevent from replying to Sturm. However when she looked down once he was done there was a wry smile across her face. Catching sight of Thurgan's wink her grin grew ever so slightly and she put a finger to the side of her head and seemed to lean on it while rolling her eyes ever so slightly. "Thurgan, while that's a good idea, we cannot simply carry every weapon dangerous to every beast. Best we learn what kind of monster it is before we try finding a weapon that hurts it. If all else fails we could just let Sturm hit it again and again and again. Seems to work on everything else." She was trying to wind Sturm up in another way. She'd seen his lips move and heard him murmuer but all of what he had said had been lost, she'd heard but a few words. Which had brought her to the conclusion he'd had a sarcasm by-pass. Probably couldn't recognise satire or irony but she had to be sure. "But if it's incorporeal," and there her grin grew some more "That means ghostly and see through," she added in Sturm's general direction, a teasing grin for him too. "Then hitting it again and again and again wont work, and spirits are more likely to be Sir Ishmael's area of expertise." She nodded in almost respect mostly acknowledgement of the warrior-priest. Aranel's thoughts continued on "If however it's a were-creature of somekind...then Telerin may be of more use. Especially as one bite from such a creature and by legend you become such a thing." "On the other hand, it could be hellspawn in which case we'll need more than Sir Ishmael and Telerin and Sturm combined." Her voice was disturbingly cheerful for such a conversation. "Though Hellspawn is possibly a little far-fetched. But it does increase the chances of us dying horribly." She sat back. "Whichever creture it is, I am little use in facing it head on." she was clever enough to know her limits, most of them didn't extend past being quick-fingered and occasionally silver-tongued, though the latter wasn't common enough to keep her from trouble.
