The new watchmen needed no fire, so they were free to stay away from the flame if they wished. And the flitting insects made them wish so.With their darkvision, they viewed the environs bereft of color. The legacy of the world below had given them a lightless sight. They used this gift to scan the perimiter beyond the light's edge. Rasereit's war ax was lay right beside him for easy drawing... as did Scun's spear.For all their abilities in the dark though, neither saw the coming of their new foe.Rasereit slapped his neck with a gloved hand. Flies, thought the dwarf off handedly. When he looked at his palm however, he found that t'was not a flying thing that had crushed.It was a spider only a little smaller than his hand. That was when They began to fall like rain from above.Surprise Round15- Spider SwarmsHundreds of arachnids rained upon the campsite. A majority of them dropped upon Scun and Rasereit. They crawled under clothing and bit with poisoned fangs.Rasereit takes 2 damage. He is nauseated (move action only) for one round.Scun takes 5 damage.
