And a single badly rolled check is enough to screw you up and make you start over.</li> </ul>It's not that it's impossible but given your current circumstances and skill. It's just extremely diffcult. Taking 20 in this case would mean a whole lotta time... perhaps even more time than it would take to accomplish this mission. Also, remember that the work on this takes time away from the other stuff you have to do, like rest. Theoretically, you could do this while on watch, but there's a penalty for distraction (+5 to the DC for Listen, -5 to the roll for Spot).Sorry about the long windedness, but I didn't want to just say "No".
