As the party gathers around the alter and the cleric, both the healer and the assistance tend to the party's wounds. [ooc] Everyone healed and extended rest [/ooc] After a while Brother Buchta clears his throat and then begins. The good new everyone is that Lerrick is now safe. You can escort her back to her home. But I'm afraid that what the dragon told you is true. He now possesses the Amulet of Shadows. How he got it, I do not know. It is an amulet of great power which awards the one who possesses it the ability to absorb physical damage and to deflect spells. Your attacks would not have harmed it. With this amulet, an already powerful force now becomes almost invincible. The dragon knows this. He now thinks he has the power of a god, and now lusts for glory and power. Sacrifices increase the power of the amulet and in turn the power of dragon The cleric pauses for amount before continuing: Before I go, I must give you more history about the amulet. This amulet has surfaced time and time again as far back as the records go back, which is well of 500 years. It had many owners, all of which rose rapidly to power and ruled an empire, ruling their subjects with an iron fist. Their subjects were exploited and killed if they didn't do their bidding.
