But then Raijin begins to feel an ever intensifying burning sensation in all of his limbs. Raijin then screams in pain as visible flame  burst from his body. The sickening smell of burning flesh spreads through the room. Then, in an instance, the buring suddenly stops, only to be replaced by a new sensation. Raijin's body begins to tremble and shiver uncontrollably as frost forms on his hair and eyebrows. Tears of pain solidify into ice. The sorcerer attempts to say something but cannot as he becomes frozen in place. The startled party stares in disbelief at Raijin, now completely frozen solid. A moment later the ice vanishes causing the sorcerer to slump over, barely able to catch his fall by holding his knees by his outstretched hands to brace himself. Just as he seems to regain his composure a blinding flash of light followed instantly by a clap of thunder, blasts through Raijin. His body becomes rigid as electricity engulfs his body. He manages another terrifying scream of pain. Just as it looks as if the sorcerer can take no more, the electricity vanishes as well. Raijin then collapses to the ground. The cleric mumbles a prayer and touches the sorcerer. The warm flow of healing spreads through Raijin's body. After a moment, he gets up by grabbing the cleric's hand. As Raijin takes a few deep breaths he realizes that his senses are now much sharper than they once were.
