//Research on The First Census of Daunton (History) Result = 30 DC15 – The census contains the names and occupations of the head of each family that travelled to Daunton from Allaria after The Fall. There are ten families that are noted as ‘Founders of the new city’; any party member that is from Daunton will note that there are now only nine ‘founding families’. But not all of the names are the same on the census as they are now, having changed over time; for example the head of the Glasston family is recorded in the census as Lord Heronus of the Glass Tower. DC18 – The family that is no longer known as a founding family were the Fitz-Alstars, it seems as though the Lord of that family died soon after settling in the transitive isles, and the lord's widow and son married into the Flantons; a family of prosperous farmers. [sblock=(arcana DC18)]There are hidden arcane marks that resemble a bird in flight next to 3 of the names on the census, one of which is Heronus of the Glass Tower.[/sblock]// As Andrec and Skalisss rummage through dusty tomes and old records, Growl, Mikara and Brother Shane take their time to scrutinise the cordoned off area where the Maesters had been found. The three adventurers discover that a lot of the ruined books that lay scattered around the area are from shelves around five or six feet high. This when added to Sharlia's testimony that the Maesters were crawling and unable to walk suggests that either some sort of altercation occurred or the tomes had been removed and piled on the desk before the Maesters were afflicted, or possibly both. Unfortunately there appear to be no useful tracks or markings left on the slightly faded carpet.
