No sooner than he hits the floor, Growl is set upon by not one, but two dire rats, while one doesn't manage to bite through the strange mixture of metal plating and bear flesh, then second sinks it's rotted yellow teeth into Growl's forepaw.At the same time the outline of an archer casts a long shadow across the street as he stands up from his hiding place on the roof of a nearby house, his  steady aim and strong arm punches and arrow through Andrec's armour into the warlord's shoulder.Another archer steps out from an alleyway behind the adventurers, this one's arrow finds purchase in Skalisss' scaly back. Yet more dire rats scurry out of the alley and dive into the midst of the group, the first runs straight past Brother Shane, and receives a solid strike from the cleric's mace before it  starts clawing at the dragonborn's plate armour.
