All Adventurer Guest Designer Cards are now Available + Tom Wham joins the party! A few months ago Shadowcircle Press announced the new product line of Guest Designer Cards where we would invite acclaimed and celebrated game crafters to make a new and exciting card that will add a greater immersion and experience to the Adventurer TM Card Game. Gary Gygax was the first Guest Designer to sign on and it is our great honor that the very last thing he designed before his passing was the intriguing new hero: Shade the Trickster. James M. Ward signed on next creating a mischievous little card called the Warden’s Pool of Darkness, paying homage to the old “goldbox” SSI computer games he helped mastermind. Chris Clark was the next on board and he created the deadly Blunderbuss, a powerful new weapon that can be wielded to squash the evil Count Lodrac’s undead forces. Shadowcircle Press released one of these cards a month for the last three months and now they are all available and usually ship out the day they are ordered. If you wish to save a little money the cards are also available as a set in a discounted bundle. With the success of that the Guest Designer Cards series is having we have decided to continue on with it and have recruited game designer extraordinaire Tom Wham to join party. Tom Wham is a legend onto himself and has created more games than most of us have even played. His clever games have an entertaining depth and scope that make you anxious to play the next of his creations. Tom, doing his best to keep with the tradition of the Guest Designer Card Series of making powerfully unbalanced and fun cards, has created another new hero for the game: Slooch the Cleric. Not only is Tom designing the card but he is also illustrating it with his quirky artistic style. A release date for Tom Wham’s Slooch the Cleric will be announced soon along with a sneak peek at Slooch’s new powers. Adventurer TM Card Game is published by Shadowcircle Press. The limited edition was released December 2007. World-wide distribution of the game begins May 22, 2008. New rules and fun variants can be found at www.ADVENTURERGAME.com.
