By high level they've normally settled down as dominion rulers etc. At low level there's not much difference between a random group of "dwarven prospectors" or "mercenary squad" and "adventurers". To be considered an "adventurer" requires a certain competency and reputation - an Indiana Jones or Lara Croft type, probably in the 6-10 level range or equivalent.</blockquote>
