Adventurer's League credit question

Last weekend I stopped by a game shop to look for an AL game.

There was one open table. The were running the prelude to the Eberron campaign. It uses lv 0 pregens rather than our own 1st level characters.

Those guys are going to apply those sheets to new characters for the Eberron campaign. The prelude gives 4 points so they will be starting at level 2.

However, I will not be able to make it most Saturdays to that shop to continue the campaign with them. Can I apply those 4 points to my 2nd level fighter that is not going to be in the Eberron campaign or is it only for Eberron characters?
(It also unlocked Dragon Shards, but I assume that is only for an Eberron character.)
It's not the end of the world if you say no.

No, the Eberron campaign is separate. You could create a new Eberron character just in case. That campaign isn't as widespread as the FR one yet, but you never know.

Ok, like I said, no big deal. I was just hoping I could catch up with the rest of the guys at my regular AL table. I've missed a couple of sessions and that would make me even with them.
