Impressions of Kalamar; Question about Player's Guide to the Sovereign Lands Wow. I got my Kingdom of Kalamar books in a few days ago and despite a busy weekend I've had time to browse through most of them. Let me take this opportunity to apologize to Kenzer & Co. for not supporting this line during the last seven years, because it's absolutely incredible. I can't believe I wasn't with this one from the beginning. I can only blame the fact that I don't have a FLGS nearby and the only book I ever remember seeing at the book store was the Campaign Setting Sourcebook which is fantastic on its own, but perhaps was overshadowed by WotC releases at the time. (i.e. I wasn't as trustworthy as third-party releases back in 2001. My how things have changed!) I picked up the Campaign Setting Sourcebook, Atlas, Dangerous Denizens, Player's Primer, and the DM's Screen. All the books arrived in good shape (though the DM's Screen was a bit warped and is now sitting at the bottom of stack of heavy books) and I was very impressed with the lot. And...I want more! What I'm looking at now is the Player's Guide to the Sovereign Lands. I've read Crothian's review for the pdf version of this book and it sounds fantastic, but I'm much more interested in getting a printed version. Has anyone ordered this print on demand book through the Lulu service option on the Kenzer & Co. website? I realize it's twice as expensive as the pdf, but I can't put a pdf file on my bookshelf (and I'm way behind in the tech world so there's no laptop/notebook computer in my life). Anyway, curious about any feedback from the one or two of you out there who might have ordered the book in the past. Thanks!
