I haven't read through it all yet, but so far, in the immortal words of Freddy Prinze (Sr., on 70s super hit sitcom "Chico And The Man"), Spycraft is "lookin' good!"Seriously, nice value for $34.95 hardcover. The yoinkable things off the top of my head are skills, feats, "departments" (races), and backgrounds. Backgrounds are purchased at character creation with skill points. The more points you put in (1-5), the more your background influences your life. Backgrounds are a lot like GURPS allies, enemies and dependents... You get an XP bonus everytime they show up and you deal with them, from helping Aunt May across the street to trading lead with Lefty McFink and the Apple Dumpling Gang, or Cobra Command, or Osama bin Laden... LOL. Seems like an interesting way to reward the players for coming up with fleshed-out PC backgrounds that the DM can use as springboards for adventures or just to mess with the players. Have to study it further, but looks neat at first glance.</blockquote>
