Aarakocra net fighting has become an extreme sport.

Sanctioned matches take place in a regulation fly zone at 10-30' high, but unlicensed teen matches take place higher, and that's where the injuries happen.

Parent groups are understandably outraged, requiring mandatory helmet laws. "What place does this have in my nestling's education?" asks one concerned mother. "The sport should be banned from schools."

Others disagree: "I was captain of the school net fighting team when I was young, and it didn't hurt me a bit," insists one father. "It teaches you to fly and teamwork. It's good for school spirit."

Aarakocra will continue to disagree about the value of the sport. It really is a difference of a pinion.

Wouldn't the daring teens fight lower?

Also, the net is not overpowered in game mechanics, it's overpowered in real life. Didn't anyone see that episode of "deadliest warrior"? The trident/net combo is insane...
