Not d20, but I thought I'd share some of my zombies anyway. The deadworld I'm using is similar to It Came From Beyond - in short there's been an alien invasion. The aliens animate the corpses of the dead by having little creepy-crawlies wrap around the spinal cord and control the body. The PCs in this game are members of the military, trying to maintain control of the heavily infested cities. Shambler Zombies These zombies were either decayed when they were turned or their nerves and/or muscles were damaged when they were changed. They aren't all that tough by themselves, but they can have the advantage of numbers. They aren't very smart or strong, but you need a called shot to hit the creature in the spine to kill it. Otherwise they just keep coming and coming. Str: 2 Dex: 1 Con: 2 Int: -2 Per: 1 Will: 2 Dps: 15 Spd: 2 Essence: 6 Skills: Brawling 2 Attacks Bite Damage D4x2(4) Weak Spot: Spine Getting Around: Slow and Steady Strength:Dead Joe Average Senses:Like the Dead Sustenence: Daily, All Flesh Must Be Eaten Intelligence:Dumb as Dead Wood. Spreading the Love: Only the Dead Power: 10 Combat Zombies These zombies were relatively whole when they were infected, or the centipedes were able to infect a still living host. They are both stronger and smarter than the more weakened zomies. With the ability to fire weapons and clumsily drive vehicles, they can provide quite a suprise for PCs expecting only mindless shamblers. Especially if they're wearing body armor. :) Str: 4 Dex: 1 Con: 2 Int: 1 Per: 1 Will: 2 Dps: 15 Spd: 2 Essence: 6 Skills: Brawling 2 Attacks Bite Damage D4x4(8) Weak Spot: Spine Getting Around: Life-like Strength:Stong Like A Bull, Iron Grip Senses:Like the Living Sustenence: Occasionally, All Flesh Must Be Eaten Intelligence:Tool Use 2. Spreading the Love: Only the Dead Power: 22 Breeder Zombies These large specimens are specially chosen for their girth and constitution. The Crawlers swarm within them, each Breeder holding up to 100 within their bodies. They enter at the end of an assault and animate or re-animate bodies with regurgitated crawlers. Str: 7 Dex: 1 Con: 2 Int: -2 Per: 1 Will: 2 Dps: 15 Spd: 2 Essence: 6 Skills: Brawling 4 Attacks Bite Damage D4x7(14) Weak Spot: Spine Getting Around: Slow and Steady Strength:Monsterous Strength, Damage Resistant, Bite (latch on 6/turn) Senses:Like the Living Sustenence: Daily, All Flesh Must Be Eaten Intelligence:Animal Cunning (2), Teamwork Spreading the Love: Only the Dead Special – Nest (3), Regeneration(2), Huge Girth – To hit the spine, penalties are -7, -6 from the rear. Power: 40 The Breeder zombies are especially feared. They killed two in the first session. The first they strapped some C4 to a propane tank to make a bomb. Later they found another in a tunnel - one character unloaded an entire clip into it, while they other tossed a grenade right on it. It got up and kept coming. They finally waited for it to emerge, planted a shotgun right on its gut and blew it in half. They can take an insane amount of damage and thier weak spot is very hard to hit. Plus they can communicate telepathically with other zombies in the area, making the whole nest a lot more dangerous. Mmmmm, I love me some zombie goodness :)
