Marc, I didn't see it mentioned (could have missed it) but at the begining of our strategy sesssion Azz will suggest that we take all the precuassions we can to aviod being overheard in our planning sessions. We could try and secure an heir but that would require some luck finding one that everyone would support for king and then going in to hiding hoping that others could stop the Mottul invasion or at least control it so the new king could be crowned. i'm not sure this would be a huge boon in this new conflict. we also are not the most politically tuned. Some of us are certainly well known and respected but I'm not sure any of us has the plotical clout to put anyone on the thrown. There are others who can do this much more efficiently. i'm aslo concerned that too many hiers might just cloud the water. I'd not like to be part of that. Making sure the other flying fortresses are secure is a good goal but since we have the ability to contact people with magic we might as well have others do that too. We could waste a lot of time traveling and we can't protect them all. I like the idea of jioning up with mom, sorry, Fina. She probably could use some more good fighters like you. Some of you woudl do well to rally the troops but this war will not be won by killing the troops. The undead are just replenshed. The war will only end iof Mottul is deprived of it means of bring this word to Edios. That only leaves us with destroying the flying fortress, taking control of it, or it or learning the sevret of how to fly it so we can move the ones we have in cotroll and/or take theirs and be able to fly it. So I'm for the leanr the sercret to the flying fortress, and then destroy the Mottul forces and take the Mottul fortress for our own. One other item for discussion. Since we are going to be doing sneaky business, dangerous sneaky business, I suggest that we only tell those most trusted what our plans are. i also would like to point out that having only one contact will lessen the chance that any info we provide will lead to confusion. we cannot possible corrodinate with multiple information systems without some problems arising somewhere. and perhaps the biggest reason we shoudl pick one contact who we know we can trust is that Mottul forces probably didn't just come flying in and take the Lykos and the portals without some inside help. we all saw how easiy it is to shut off a portal.... Of course I suggest Fina as the contact. I can not think of any one who is more able to help us with information and other stuff than her and I think most of you woudl agree that we can trust her. So is suggest that we go with the flying fortress objective and start with the following: Tell Ikon we are going to Join Fina and fight the mottul foreces ithe ground. Link up with Fina magically and as suggeted try and find a dragon to help us get around Not to mention that it will be much easier if we need to get on (into) the fortress. Also ask if she has any info that will help. we mght even what to go physically see her maybe soem thing she can hepl us with in person(?). I'm not sure of how to go about figuring out the magic. I'm not very educated in the arcane arts. Maybe Suchet could teach me some stuff. :)
