The shop also substituted as a front for a small thieves guild knows as the ShadowSkins. Primarily composed of Gobbers, the thieves guild would often perform complex robberies and staged information planting. The guild was often used by other, larger guilds that required anonymity. Their targets included prominent (anti-Gobber) politicians, wealthy merchants and religious leaders.</p><p></p><p>Learning the trades of theivery, Thrillgrog earned the nickname "Kneecap" because he had a penchant to strike his opponents in the kneecaps until they fell.</p><p></p><p>Thrillgrog, however, grew despondent with the life of a servant. After having paid off his debt to the guild, he left the guild and the shop, seeking his own fortune and glory...</p></blockquote><p></p>
