Good, but start the dietary changes now. If they are going to help, and you are strict about it, you should feel/notice improvement in about 48 hours. If you aren't going to be strict about it, don't even try it. One cheat is enough to screw it up. Just to be clearer, when your doing the soups don't eat anything else. No Milk either. Staying away from all breads and pasta's (most have wheat in them) is a good idea. If the soups have pasta in them, avoid eating them. Stay away from beef and pork for a few days as well. Strangely, vegetables such as peas, carrots, tomato's, green beans, and broccoli didn't bother me, but other people I talked to with the same problems said they did. Your going to need to do a lot of experimentation. The best way is to go down the the simplest foods, such as broth type soups and drinking water. Then add one thing to your diet at a time. If after 48 hours you do not have a reaction, it is probably safe for your particular digestive tract. Another thing about the alcohol, it only helped in moderation. Drinking excessively will aggravate it for some reason. Besides, your on a pain killer, so limiting yourself to one shot is a double good idea. As for your body responding to steroids very well, I wasn't referring to adding body weight easily. The "condition" has to respond well. If you put on weight well with steroids prepare yourself to look like the pillsbury dough boy before it is all over. I was on them for two years and swelled up like a friggin balloon. Not fun at all. Anyways, I hope whatever you have is treatable, best yet, cureable. Be good.
